Cefalù

Cefalù is set on a promontory dominated by an overhanging cliff, at the centre of the Riviera between Palermo and Capo d'Orlando. The city has kept its ancient aspect intact. Buildings that have been embellished with decorations as well as many churches that reveal their glorious past as a bishop's see overlook the narrow streets of the town centre, characterised by a medieval touch. The Sicilian suburb, with its ancient houses and beach with fine sand - one of the most beautiful of the entire Northern coast - is extremely suggestive.
